Soilmec Ltd maintains a stock of used hydraulic rotary rigs that are available for sale not just in the UK, but globally. We are able to organise shipping and insurance to any seaport worldwide. These used or reconditioned machines are usually shipped on a roll-on roll-off basis with accessories being containerised.

Soilmec overhauls and refurbishes the majority of used rotary drilling rigs for sale. Typical work undertaken includes:
Strip the rotary, re-shim and repair as necessary
Strip the main winch, re-shim and repair as necessary
Refurbish mast
New slew ring if required
Track and undercarriage overhauled with new track chains, rollers, sprockets & idlers
Hydraulics completely flow tested and components changed as necessary
Re-wire electrics on machine
Refurbish cabin
Refurbish bodywork
New oils and filters throughout
Engine tested, repaired and serviced
New ropes throughout
Check pulley and bearings, change as necessary
Hydraulic hoses changed as required
Machine tested and supplied with a 12 month LOLER inspection certificate
Machine shot-blasted and re-painted in customer’s livery
Soilmec UK Ltd’s Sales Department are fully trained to deal with Documentary Letter of Credit Requests and can advise on the most suitable procedures.
Soilmec offer a 6 month warranty on any work we have undertaken during
re-conditioning of a machine. Unless otherwise stated, the used rotary drilling rigs are sold on a ‘sold as seen, no warranty’ basis.
